We offer the following Levels of Care:

• We also have a Home Care Agency (Seacrest at Home) that operates on our campus and serves residents on-site as well as in greater community.

Independent Living on our campus means that the resident requires no help with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) like: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders/management, etc. The resident is still their own advocate, manages or has someone manage their health and medical needs, and is ambulatory, generally without assistance.

Assisted Living on our campus means that, to some extent, the resident requires help with their ADLs. The resident in Assisted Living may require the use of a walker or cane. Assisted Living residents can expect to receive services like medication management and access to 24/7 caregiving covered by the monthly rent cost. Two prices (the rent + the level of care) determine the monthly rent amount.

On our campus, Memory Care provides all-in-one pricing and service for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other cognitive issues. The community provides continual, round-the-clock caregiving as well as a robust activity schedule throughout the day that focuses on physical, mental, and tactile ability. There are physicians, psychiatrists, dentists, and podiatrists who can follow residents and meet their medical needs on campus. (Not all insurance plans are accepted)

Residents in this community are typically either under skilled rehabilitation or custodial/long-term care. Skilled nursing provides an environment similar to a hospital with 24/7 nursing care, following physicians, and can serves as the highest-level of care possible on our campus. If a family member or loved one goes to the hospital for any variety of reasons, a hospital may discharge someone to a skilled nursing facility if the hospital/physician thinks that the patient cannot thrive/recover in their home given any number of reasons (no one to help at home, too many stairs, etc.) Here a patient will be cared for and most often given rehabilitation services to regain the strength required to go back to their place of residence. Skilled nursing also serves people who are physically incapable of caring for their activities of daily living and/or in the end-of-life stage.

At Seacrest Village Retirement Community, we offer two distinct options for 24-hour care to cater to the diverse needs of our residents. Our Care Giving program provides residents with on-demand support for medication management and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) whenever they require it. Our dedicated team is readily available, and in the event of a 911 emergency, we ensure that immediate assistance is provided. On the other hand, our Skilled Nursing department offers comprehensive, round-the-clock nursing care within our state-of-the-art Skilled Nursing facilities. Here, residents can receive a higher level of medical attention, including specialized treatments and ongoing medical supervision. We understand that every individual has unique care requirements, and our goal is to offer personalized care options to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of all our residents.

On our campus, we are largely a private-pay community, but insurance does help cover some expenses in different levels of care:

• INDEPENDENT LIVING – private pay, month-to-month lease. No insurance accepted.
• ASSISTED LIVING – private pay, month-to-month lease. If a resident has a Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance policy, that will offset some of the rental cost depending on the plan and coverage and the amount of care the resident receives.
• MEMORY CARE – private pay, month-to-month lease. If a resident has a Long-Term Care (LTC) insurance policy, that will offset some of the rental cost depending on the plan and coverage.
• SKILLED NURSING & REHAB – generally, skilled nursing is paid for by Medicare insurance and/or a supplement for the first 100 days. Medicare A covers the stay and Medicare B covers physical therapy.

No. We are different business model and have different buildings for different levels of care. As a resident’s care needs increase, they move to different buildings whose services are consistent with the resident’s needs.

Our number one goal is to serve residents in the safest and most supportive environment possible. We make every effort to keep couples together as long as possible but at times care circumstances may dictate otherwise.

In general rent covers:

• Meal plan
• Utilities (HVAC, electricity, cable/internet)
• Weekly housekeeping including bath/bed linens
• Transportation to/from scheduled medical appointments
• Life enrichment
• 24/7 security
• Resident parking (Independent Living only with valid CA driver’s license)
